November 2018 - Sydney Glassman, an assistant professor in the Department of Microbiology and Plant Pathology at UCR, indicated the importance of the microbial communities to decompose the dead animals and trees in the ecosystem. At the same time, she studied how  climate change affected microbial communities. For example, moderate climate was the most effective nutrient decay site.  Read more
