The Center for Agriculture, Food, and the Environment (CAFÉ) is UC Riverside’s hub for research, innovation, education, and outreach, advancing agricultural sustainability in arid and semi-arid regions, such as Southern California. In response to the mounting challenges of climate change, resource scarcity, and food insecurity, CAFÉ focuses on developing science-based knowledge and technologies to support a hunger-free XXI century. CAFÉ brings together expertise in precision and digital agriculture, agronomic practices, and environmental sustainability to help build profitable, resilient, and equitable agricultural systems.
